Non-prime inventory is also known as Slow Moving Stock (SMS) internally.
Primary Responsibilities This role will:
Manage Technical Service activity related to SMS and aged product volumes in accordance with established procedures/ processes Own and administer SMS metrics and strategic management procedures, which includes leading a cross-functional team with representatives from Sales, Order to Delivery (OTD) and operations in efforts to effectively manage SMS. Monitor inventory quality and sales orders for allocation opportunities Maintain consistent communication with R D, Sales, OTD and Operations to ensure effective movement/ reduction of SMS for the Americas Provide regular reporting on SMS performance for the Americas and coordinate Global reports with support from other regions Support Sales and Customer Service in creation and revision of SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System parameters including Batch Search Strategy (BSS) data, Certificates of Analysis (CoA), and quality reports with appropriate training Troubleshoot and correct product allocation issues within the latest versions of SAP Essential Skills and Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must have SAP experience with preference for candidates experienced in S4 quality and order management Proficient in Microsoft systems (Words, Excel, PowerPoint) Adaptable and open to learning new software applications and platforms
