Job Description:
Our Client is seeking an IT Technical Analyst who is motivated by variety, is seeking a challenging environment for professional growth. The selected candidate will work with all areas of the OMS System Integration project. Responsibilities include close collaboration with project team leads to work with business users, IT teams, and vendors to document and validate requirements, map requirements to configuration, configure OMS product, create test cases, and ensure a structured system implementation approach. Additionally, this role will develop, execute, document, and establish reports for OMS product. This person will support/assist with System Integration Testing (SIT), End to End (E2E) testing, Performance Testing, Penetration Testing and Hypercare of the project. The ideal candidate will also possess hands-on experience with OMS configuration activities including application configuration, integration support, workflow set up, outage management functionality and environment validation within utility operational environments.
Responsibilities:
Lead Report creation from requirements, development to testing effort Lead documentation/ tracking of progress, supporting Project Manager. Assist with the configuration of
ADMS/OMS
with existing utility systems, including outage job functionality from calls, job creation to job closure and reporting, to ensure seamless workflow and operational efficiency Work with System Integration Leads of the
ADMS OMS
project in doing the following: Technical Requirements gathering Technical data migration, interface development, configuration related to OMS implementation and system integration Test Case creation/Testing for SIT and End to
End Performance Testing Operational Readiness Review/Cutover Planning Supporting UAT and Training Cutover/Deployment and Hypercare Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science or related degree. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree with 8+ years of business and/or IT analysis experience implementing technology projects in the utility industry (generation, transmission, or distribution). Extensive experience in utility data management, identifying data quality issues, conducting root cause analysis, and developing actionable solutions to resolve discrepancies. Proficient in implementing data validation strategies, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and optimizing workflows to improve data accuracy and efficiency. Strong skills in data collection, documentation, and communication. Experience executing System Integration Testing (SIT) and End to End scripts, conducting smoke testing, assist with any testing with end users, including documenting, reviewing, and tracking defects. Proven ability to troubleshoot by identifying, analyzing, and resolving defects encountered during functional, integration, and performance testing. Strong knowledge of technical project and system integration methodologies, including requirements, design, functional, integration, regression, and performance testing. Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
