6 months contract to hire Overview We are seeking a mid-level IT Asset Management (ITAM) professional to help establish and mature our IT Asset Management practice within the corporate office environment. This individual will play a key role in developing policies, procedures, and governance processes while helping build a scalable ITAM framework. Responsibilities Assist in establishing and improving IT Asset Management policies, standards, and procedures. Support the implementation and ongoing management of ITAM processes and best practices. Track and manage hardware, software, and technology assets throughout their lifecycle. Partner with IT, Procurement, Finance, and other business teams to ensure compliance and asset visibility. Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen asset governance and controls. Maintain accurate asset inventories and documentation. Support audits, reporting, and compliance initiatives related to IT assets. Qualifications 3 7 years of experience in IT Asset Management, IT Operations, IT Governance, or a related field. Experience helping establish or improve ITAM programs, policies, and procedures. Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, inventory controls, and governance practices. Ability to collaborate across technical and business teams. Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Experience working with Department of Defense (DoD) contractors, subcontractors, or government organizations, including adherence to compliance and asset governance requirements. Preferred Experience with ITAM tools such as ServiceNow, Flexera, Snow, or similar platforms. Familiarity with software licensing, compliance, and asset auditing processes. Knowledge of ITIL practices and IT service management frameworks.
