This is a hybrid position working 2-3 days in our US Headquarters office located in Telford, PA. The IT Automation Analyst II designs, builds, and operates intelligent automation solutions using modern software and AI technologies. This role focuses on developing AI agents and automation to enable scalable, decision-driven automation across business and IT domains. Operating at the intersection of AI and business process automation, this role owns solutions end-to-end from discovery and architecture through deployment, monitoring, and continuous optimization.
Additional Responsibilities:
Act as the regional point of contact for AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with Global IT and adhering to established AI governance and ethical standards Architect and develop AI-powered automation services and decision-making capabilities using LLMs, AI agents, OCR, NLP, and Machine Learning to replace manual processes Build and operate complex AI-driven workflows utilizing orchestration frameworks like n8n, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio Integrate automation solutions with core enterprise platforms—including ERP, CRM, BI, and Service Desk tools—using API-driven and event-based architectures suitable for global scale Own the full solution lifecycle from initial architecture through deployment, applying best practices to ensure high scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability Implement comprehensive logging, alerting, and operational dashboards to troubleshoot production issues and continuously optimize service performance Partner with business and technical stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Contribute to internal automation frameworks and drive AI adoption through tailored demos, training, and technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences Performs other duties as needed and assigned Your Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, AI, or relevant experience 2+ years in AI model integration, automation, or software engineering with a proven track record of deploying production-grade automated systems Proven experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases Proven experience delivering production-grade backend, automation, or AI-enabled systems Proficiency in Python, API development/integration, JSON, SQL, and familiarity with RPA tools or AI platforms (e.g., OpenAI API, n8n). Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI/ML frameworks, and agent-based architectures (e.g., AI agents). Experience with cloud services Solid understanding of software engineering best practices (version control, environments, testing) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to translate business needs into robust technical solutions Clear communication skills with strong documentation skills Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment Dräger Benefits At Draeger, Technology for Life means supporting our people in every aspect of their lives.
