Type:
contract
Job Description:
World Wide Window Fashions | Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid)
Compensation:
$80
  • 150/hour | Contract with Full-Time Opportunity We're a fast-growing window treatment manufacturer and distributor on an ambitious journey to become a technology-driven company. To get there, we need the right foundation
  • and that starts with clean data, governed systems, and a clear technology roadmap. We're looking for a seasoned IT Consultant with real-world ERP project leadership experience to drive a high-impact, project-based engagement that will reshape how we operate
  • and lay the groundwork for AI-enabled operations. This engagement is contract-based with a clear path to a full-time IT Manager role for the right candidate who demonstrates strong cultural fit and strategic value during the project. What You'll Do
  • Lead a comprehensive audit of our current ERP system (PIC)
  • assessing data structure, data integrity, workflow design, system configuration, and functional gaps
  • Design and implement a company-wide data governance framework: data entry standards, access controls, change management protocols, and ongoing accountability structures
  • Drive hands-on remediation of junk and corrupted data across AP/AR, purchasing, production orders, inventory, and online ordering
  • Restore and optimize critical system functions
  • including order status tracking
  • currently creating operational bottlenecks and customer service burden
  • Own and deliver a forward-looking IT Technology Roadmap that evaluates:
  • ERP migration vs. internal system development
  • Phased path toward AI and automation integration
  • Internal IT department structure and hiring plan
  • Define KPIs and governance standards the internal team can sustain independently
  • Mentor and develop our internal IT staff throughout the engagement What We're Looking For Experience
  • 10+ years of professional experience in IT, systems, or operations
  • with meaningful time spent inside a corporate environment (not exclusively consulting)
  • Demonstrated track record of owning and driving ERP implementation, migration, or remediation projects end-to-end
  • not just advising from the sidelines
  • Background in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments strongly preferred
  • Experience building data governance frameworks and IT operating standards from scratch
  • Experience evaluating and recommending ERP platforms (NetSuite, Acumatica, SAP Business One, or similar) Technical Background
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field is a strong plus
  • Hands-on understanding of ERP architecture, database structures, and system integrations
  • Familiarity with AI, automation, and data analytics tools and how they connect to ERP infrastructure
  • PIC ERP experience is a bonus, but not required
  • what matters is the ability to quickly assess and navigate an unfamiliar system Leadership & Strategic Thinking
  • Proven ability to manage a project independently: scope, timeline, stakeholder communication, and delivery
  • Strategic mindset
  • able to connect IT infrastructure decisions to long-term business growth, not just fix immediate technical problems
  • Strong communicator who can translate technical complexity into clear recommendations for executive leadership
  • Experience developing IT department structures, hiring plans, and internal capability roadmaps is a strong plus The Full-Time Opportunity For the right person, this engagement doesn't have to end at project completion. As we grow, we are building toward a dedicated internal IT function
  • and the consultant who leads this foundational work is the natural candidate to lead that team as our IT Manager.
The full-time IT Manager role would own ongoing ERP operations, technology strategy execution, vendor management, and eventually lead a small internal IT team as we scale. If you're a senior IT professional open to transitioning from consulting into a high-impact leadership role inside a growing company, this is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up. About Us World Wide Window Fashions is a Philadelphia-based manufacturer and distributor of premium window treatment products, operating under the HELIO brand. We serve dealers and distributors across the U.S. and are in an active growth phase
  • investing in our people, products, and technology infrastructure to build a world-class operation. Our vision is to become a fully technology-driven company. Today we're at the beginning of that journey. This engagement is one of the most strategically important investments we're making
  • and the person who leads it will have direct access to executive leadership, real decision-making authority, and the opportunity to shape the technology foundation of a growing brand. Engagement Details
