Identify opportunities to implement new processes or tools that will speed A&P operations or improve governance w/in IT. Recommend & implement enhancements to operational & governance processes. Identify opportunities to enhance, expand, & automate these processes. Contribute to cross-functional teams to pursue operational improvement opportunities. Define business & technical requirements for operational tools & processes. Assist in assessing & prioritizing competing business needs from multiple areas. Work closely w/ customers to build mutually-beneficial relationships. Provide consultation to management w/in A&P. Analyze issues to provide strategic insight to decision-makers. Participate in wide-ranging efforts to improve quality & velocity of IT work. Contribute to our department's mission & vision for value we will deliver. Implement tools to automate business processes & department workflows. Synthesize new needs w/ tool's existing capabilities to define specifications that fit w/in system's operational paradigms (identify the right tool for the job). Design application interfaces as part of automation efforts. Model business & IT data in support of automation efforts, metrics, & reporting. Design & develop forms & workflows in industry tools such as Microsoft Power Apps & Power Automate. Work closely w/ customers in A&P departments to identify collaboration needs. Enforce robust standards for document management. Contribute to definition & implementation of mechanisms for metadata-driven management of document repositories & data lists. Enable advanced collaboration capabilities in industry tools such as Microsoft Point & Teams. Support use, maintenance, & enhancement of Sightline ATPM, our enterprise tool for application & technology portfolio management. Contribute to modeling of attributes of applications, technologies, capabilities, features, & other logical & physical IT entities. Assist w/ creation of relationships b/n ATPM entities. Promote & enforce standards for validity of records in ATPM system. Work w/ other enterprise stakeholders to gather requirements for enhancements. Contribute to definition & implementation of operational processes for ensuring data completeness, accuracy, & currency. Contribute to documentation that accurately describes Sightline & its integration w/ partner systems. Write specifications for ATPM system enhancements, & participate in user acceptance testing of them. Work w/ our Sightline ATPM vendor to explain & organize enhancements & fixes. Support users of Sightline ATPM as needed. Contribute to definition & creation of metrics & reports to monitor effectiveness of processes. Create data visualizations using industry-standard tools such as Tableau & Power BI to enable data-based decision-making by department leaders. Assist in automating extraction of data from corporate systems & repositories to support metrics & reporting needs. Work w/ customers in A&P departments to understand key communications priorities. Monitor events & initiatives across A&P to identify opportunities for communication & promotion. Contribute to development & execution of robust communication plans that accurately describe purpose, message(s), audience(s), channel(s), & events. Assist in identifying optimal communication channels for every message & audience. Independently create communications materials that delight stakeholders. Employ graphic design skills & sensibilities to create appealing communications. Contribute to design & execution of engaging communications events.Telecommuting:
This is a Flex role (3 days in office / 2 days remote).REQUIREMENTS
This position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Computer Applications, or in a related field and 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Information Technology Analyst, or in a related occupation. Must have experience with the following skills: (1) IT portfolio management practices, including IT Estate Management, Application Portfolio Management, Technology Portfolio Management, Product Portfolio Management, and Project Portfolio Management; (2) Apply Agile/Scrum, SDLC, and Waterfall IT methodologies to support the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of IT applications; (3) Project management, including estimation of project effort, timeline, and costs; planning and executing project activities; status review and reporting; risk management; issue resolution; and facilitating communication among process and project stakeholders to optimize collaboration; (4) Maintain project schedule, release plan, sprint backlog, and other necessary artifacts of execution; (5) Implement, service process improvement methodologies; (6) Develop and deliver training materials related to processes, and assisting customers and stakeholders with processes; and (7) Office authoring and collaboration tools (Word, Excel, Visio, Point, etc.) and project and sprint management tools (MS Project, Jira, etc.).RATE OF PAY
