Position Information Description & Details:

The IT Service Center Consultant provides technical assistance to students, staff, and faculty at North Dakota State University and within the North Dakota University System. Support will be for the IT services NDSU provides its clients both on and off campus.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8 am-5 pm, some remote work is possible. This position requires regular commuting to the Fargo campus.

Hiring Range:

$43,000 - $48,000+ DOE Pay is based on several factors, including budget, labor market, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and/or certification and other business considerations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience Strong verbal/telephone skills Ability to work in a team approach environment Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, high-energy, changing work environment Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service Demonstrated analytic/problem solving and prioritization skills Strong organizational skills Proven written communication procedures and practices, including punctuation and spelling.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in providing technology customer support Experience supporting the following: Microsoft Office Suite and/or other current office productivity applications Web browsers Email Windows and/or Mac OS operating systems Hardware/software knowledge Connectivity Smartphones and/or tablets University-related experience
