Mid-Level Software Consultant Job Type:
Full-time Salary:
$80,000 - $100,000 a year Benefits 401(k) with company match Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Disability insurance Paid time off (PTO) Holiday pay We are seeking a proactive, energetic Mid-Level Software Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will work both independently and collaboratively as a core technical consultant on client solutions, enhancements, and integration projects. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills who can easily bridge the gap between complex customer business requirements and technical implementation.
Analyze customer business requirements and objectives to establish clear criteria regarding deliverability, performance, maintenance, design, and costs. Act as the primary technical liaison between customer needs and proposed solutions.
Solution Design & Implementation:
Develop, implement, and validate robust software designs, architectures, and products that precisely meet customer needs while adhering to industry best practices.
Project Estimation & Planning:
Estimate timeframes, quality, and resource quantities needed for successful implementation; provide critical technical input on project plans incorporating all variables.
Collaboration & Communication:
Deliver technical presentations to customers, and interact regularly with management, project managers, and fellow consultants to ensure project alignment.
Project Tracking & Reporting:
Participate in periodic status checks, assist in re-forecasting project variables as necessary, and prepare weekly status and time reports on all implementation activities.
Technical Advisory Support:
Serve as an advisory-level pre-sales and post-sales technical support specialist when needed to troubleshoot complex issues and provide long-term solutions.
Requirements & Qualifications Experience:
4+ years of professional experience in software engineering, technical consulting, or development.
Education:
Bachelor's degree (BS) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Interpersonal Skills:
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, a desire to learn, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a team setting.
Travel/Special Requirements:
Must have access to a personal vehicle. This is a hybrid position that requires in-office attendance weekly. Work Environment General office environment, which may vary depending on the specific customer site.
