Job DescriptionThe Software Engineer Lead Consultant architects and designs their digital products using modern tools, technologies, frameworks, and systems. They apply a systematic application of scientific and technological knowledge, methods, and experience to the design, implementation, testing, and documentation of software. They own and manage running their application in production, and ultimately becomes accountable for the success of their digital products through achieving KPIs. This role is responsible for the development of new applications and provide production support of existing applications by working with onsite-offshore teams in split shifts.
Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in inceptions and iteration planning meetings, infusing backlogs with technical input working in close partnership with the product managerPartners in collaboration and strategy alignment across product portfolios (cross-product) in partnership with product managers, other peers and key stakeholdersServes as an expert on one or more business domain and a distinguished advocate of multiple technology stacks and shares that knowledge across organizationsLeads and participates in daily site, cross-site, and product team standupsLeads and participates in retrospectives; demonstrating and encouraging each participant to provide feedback with empathyProvides support for software products in user environmentsCoaches the team and leads daily practices of using paired programming and test-driven development in writing software and building productsEstablishes continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines and practicesExperience4 or more years of experience in ASP.net, C#.net, ADO.net, HTML, XML, JSON, JAVA script, SQL Server, MS-IIS.4 or more years of experience in developing/supporting mainframe applications.
Proficiency in COBOL, IDMS, DB2, VSAM, JCL.Minimum of 2 years IDMS database knowledge24+ months experience in Lender Placed Insurance Tracking and Loss Draft business services, associated processes, systems knowledge, and hands-on application development experience. Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job does not have supervisory duties.
