$65- $70/hr We have an immediate need for a PeopleSoft HCM Technical Consultant for a remote contract opportunity. This role is ideal for an experienced consultant who can lead critical PeopleTools upgrade initiatives while ensuring business continuity and system stability. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and supporting PeopleTools upgrades for PeopleSoft Human Capital Management applications. You will perform detailed impact analysis across customizations, delivered objects, integrations, and business processes to ensure a seamless upgrade experience. The position involves retrofitting and remediating technical components including PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, and SQR programs to align with new PeopleTools versions. You will also optimize batch processes, address deprecated features, and improve overall application performance. Additionally, you will lead unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing, while collaborating closely with functional teams and business stakeholders throughout the upgrade lifecycle. Post-upgrade validation, hypercare, troubleshooting, and production support will also be key responsibilities. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in Oracle PeopleSoft HCM technical development and extensive hands-on experience with PeopleTools upgrades. Strong proficiency in PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, SQR, and technical troubleshooting is essential. Experience in impact analysis, retrofitting, performance tuning, post-upgrade stabilization, and adhering to PeopleSoft best practices will be critical for success in this role.
