Job Description

Job Description A large regional health system in North Florida is seeking a Senior level Epic Ambulatory application analyst to augment Epic Ambulatory team. Candidate needs to be a highly experienced Ambulatory IT analyst with Epic Bones certification and smartforms experience, along with multiple additional Epic certifications for versatility. The selected candidate would be acting as the primary SME on any project assignments but may also be asked to handle other requests and incident tickets. We are seeking a self starter, independent, hands-on Epic Ambulatory builder who can assume ownership of production build, support, optimization, and upgrade activities with minimal ramp up. The contractor will work closely with clinical stakeholders, cross application teams and leadership to ensure continuity of care and system stability. Role will report to Ambulatory IT Manager.   • Epic Ambulatory Certification
  • Epic Bones Experience
  • Additional Epic certs strongly preferred
  • 7+ years of Epic application experience in a healthcare system
  • Proven experience owning Epic build (not shadow or advisory roles)
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows in ambulatory settings
  • Ability to own stakeholder interactions and influence decision making
  • Works on SmartForm development and broader ambulatory build efforts beyond foundational "bones," including incident management. Handles Nova Note builds, Epic enhancements, and minor break/fix updates.
  • Experience across multiple Epic modules beyond ambulatory
  • Prior experience in Enterprise Epic upgrades
  • Familiarity with structures intake tools
  • Experience working directly with provider leadership and operational stakeholders
