Job Description

We are looking for a senior-level Software Test Analyst to join our team. This position focuses on designing and executing comprehensive manual and automated test suites, managing performance testing, and ensuring application compliance.
Position Details Location:
Lansing, MI Work Arrangement:
Hybrid (Non-Negotiable)
Onsite:
Wednesdays and Thursdays Remote:
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays Note:
Candidates must be local to the Lansing area (within 90 miles) at the time of application.
Interview Process:
60-minute virtual interview via MS Teams (Video, laptop, and screen-sharing readiness required). Core Responsibilities & Key Skills 1. Test Automation & Technical Skills (Required)
Frameworks:
Hands-on automation using Playwright , Selenium , or Cypress .
Coding:
Strong, clean, object-oriented Java programming.
BDD:
Writing clear Gherkin scenarios (Given/When/Then) and implementing Step Definitions in Java.
Databases:
Writing SQL and PL-SQL queries (SELECTs, JOINs) for backend data validation against Oracle or SQL Server .
Version Control:
Proficiency with Git (merging, pull requests). 2.
Performance & Load Testing Experience:
3 5+ years of senior-level performance testing.
Tools:
Tooling expertise in JMeter or LoadRunner (scripting, executing scenarios, and identifying system bottlenecks). 3.
Test Strategy & API Testing API Testing:
Solid experience using Postman or Rest Client.
Test Management:
Designing/executing manual & automated test cases, creating environment-specific test suites, and tracking bugs via Azure DevOps . 4.
Compliance & Accessibility ADA Testing:
Accessibility testing experience using tools like JAWS or AccVerify .
Security:
Solid understanding of the Secure Application Development Lifecycle ( SADLC ). Preferred (Bonus) Skills Experience with Playwright for Java specifically. Familiarity with the TestNG framework and Eclipse IDE. Mobile application testing ( iOS and Android ).
