This role is open to full-time remote work, or hybrid onsite in our Lincoln, RI office. Our normal business hours are Monday
  • Friday, 8am
  • 5pm Eastern Time. This role does not currently offer employment visa sponsorship. This position is open to senior levels of experience. Entry-level candidates are not eligible. This is a full-time position based on a 37.5-hour work week. The starting annual salary is between $94,748
  • $145,985 based on the level of previous experience.
In addition, hired applicants will be eligible for the company's annual variable incentive paid based on company performance.
Position Summary:
Our Lincoln, RI office is seeking a Senior/Lead IT Vendor Management Analyst who will contribute to the development, management, and maintenance of the IT Vendor Management program. They will also assist in directing and optimizing IT vendor management strategy and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Dedicate majority of time supporting the contracts and procuring process for technology products including reviewing and processing agreements as well as supporting negotiations through redlining Review of IT contracts, providing recommendations on business risks to contract owners and coordinating appropriate additional reviews such as information security Maintain deadlines and communicate regularly with internal stakeholders about contractual issues and matters. Facilitate the maintenance of agreements with vendors and ensure that they are current and compliant with relevant laws and regulations, including software license compliance. Facilitate the negotiation process of vendor service level agreements, ensuring that contractual obligations are accurately tracked and met. Provide support to the procurement team and business units to optimize the cost-effectiveness of negotiations and ensure compliance of negotiated agreements to established vendor management policies and practices (such as articulation of service levels and deliverables). Analyze IT vendor management processes with an eye on opportunities for improvement and recommend actionable industry best practices processes and solutions. Facilitate collaboration with team members as well as across teams, sections and departments to complete work in a timely manner. Actively seek out opportunities to learn and apply emerging trends such as best practices and standards. Look for challenging assignments that add value to the organization and apply learnings from those opportunities within the role. Foster a culture that values learning and creativity both individually and as a team. Identify continuous improvement opportunities to automate development, provisioning, and release work to accelerate and improve the quality of solutions delivery. May be called upon to handle other duties as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years' experience supporting vendor management, contracts, and procurement or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Experience with negotiating and managing large-scale IT-related contracts and agreements. Experience and understanding of the financial and accounting concerns of software/hardware, hosting, subscription, licensing and professional services agreements. Ability to work in partnership with others in a collaborative or advisory role. Strong technical foundation with demonstrated business, data, and financial analysis skills. Ability to translate and communicate complex concepts in relatable terms. Experience in reviewing and managing complex and financially significant IT contracts achieving successful outcome while building and preserving relationships. Able to take control of difficult situations involving IT, other business units and external vendors effectively. Demonstrated experience reviewing and negotiating complex technology contracts. Strong working knowledge of vendor management practices. Experience interfacing effectively with diverse and senior level audiences.
