Job Title:
Software Development Advisor Duties:
Represent the Development team in client discussions alongside Business Analysts to gather and clarify requirements. Enhance applications based on Business Specification documents and client needs. Conduct technical research, development, and testing to align product functionality with business requirements. Identify and implement application improvements to boost customer satisfaction and product performance. Configure and enhance product launches within the domain, including integration with systems like DTCC, DST, Claims, and agency platforms. Perform impact analysis and create technical specifications to guide development efforts. Design scalable and reusable technical solutions that support long-term product growth. Collaborate with offshore teams to ensure timely and accurate project execution. Review code and unit test results, guiding the team to meet delivery timelines and quality standards. Work with Business Analyst, and QA team to Support Agile processes, including defect resolution, project handover documentation, and hypercare activities. Travel to various unanticipated sites throughout the U.S. Telecommuting is permitted.
Requirements:
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires:
1. Cobol; 2. JCL; 3. VSAM; 4. Agile Methodologies; and 5. CICS.
