Job Description

Job Title:
Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field. U.S. DoD Secret Clearance or higher. Must be able to work on-site at cleared facilities in the Washington DC region on a Hybrid basis at a minimum. Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification. Configuration experience with ServiceNow ITSM or ITBM applications. Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs (all scripted aspects of the ServiceNow system). Experience in designing, configuring and implementing business applications. Experience in building and enhancing applications through the entire lifecycle (analyze, design, build, test, implement and support).
Preferred qualifications:
Strong understanding of core software engineering, system design and integration Create and manage scripts and workflow. Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, etc.) Experience with ServiceNow client and server-side JavaScript and the ServiceNow APIs Scripted Web-Services, AJAX, Business Rules, JavaScript, SOAP, REST

Setup and Integration of ServiceNow to Other Applications Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams. Ability to manage ambiguity and a rapidly changing landscape. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Working knowledge of SDLC concepts and ability to apply that knowledge daily. Agile experience highly preferred. Responsibilities Configure and implement ServiceNow scoped applications based on user stories as requirements. Conduct unit testing and deployment of functionality in ServiceNow based applications. Conduct operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities for production ServiceNow scoped applications. Function as an application subject-matter-expert for the DTech Apps Suite of applications. Engage with customers in both a structured and unstructured manner to understand their business problems and communicate cross-functionally across both customer and internal teams.
