Overview Snap-on Business Solutions (Rochester Hills, MI),
RS&I Division of Snap-on Incorporated Location:
Field / Remote The Technical Field Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for the support of Snap-on Heavy Duty Diagnostic products and services. This position will act as the liaison between Snap-on (NEXIQ) and Snap-on's sales channels as well as the customer (end user). They will be required to supply both product and technical application support to the sales channel and the end user with the purpose of driving new sales and support current customers. Responsibilities Deliver sales training and support material within meeting environments. Interface with Product management, sales and marketing to develop deep product knowledge to assist with planning, development, deployment, and maintenance of diagnostic tools. Assist in testing and documenting related field concerns. Serve as a liaison between the Heavy-Duty Diagnostics sales channel, end users, customer service group and Account Management providing valuable information regarding customer feedback. Support regional and national shows in which Snap-on participates. Deliver Franchisee group training. Deliver end user seminars. Provide training and support via web seminars. Ability to develop technical and sales training curriculums. Follow company policies and procedures. Other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or science; and or automotive technical certifications. Minimum five years' automotive technical experience. 3-5 years' related experience or equivalent work experience. Technical competence; Diagnostics product lines and product usage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong Group Presentation skills / Experienced in Power Point usage. Organization skills / Time Management Skills. Must be willing to travel 50-70%+ including some weekends. Adaptable to change.
