Portland, OR (HYBRID role; Onsite Tuesdays-Thursdays and Remote on Mondays & Fridays)
Work Schedule/Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day (standard business hours)
Compensation:
$34.25 to $40.00 per hour
NOTE:
If this position converts to full-time in the future, the salary range would be $70,000-$75,000
Overview:
Our client is a leading digital health and wellness organization that delivers technology-enabled solutions designed to help individuals make informed healthcare decisions and improve overall well-being. The company partners with employers, health plans, and government organizations to provide health, wellness, and transparency solutions through digital, onsite, and telephonic programs. The Technical Implementation Analyst will play a critical role in supporting software implementations and enhancements by translating business needs into technical and functional solutions. This position will partner closely with clients and internal teams to guide implementations, document requirements, troubleshoot issues, and support successful solution deployment. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, technical aptitude, and experience working in fast-paced, client-facing technology environments.
Responsibilities:
Guide clients through technical and functional implementation processes while ensuring business requirements are met. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into system configurations. Author clear, concise, and complete functional and technical specifications for implementations. Configure tools and solutions as needed to support client requirements. Analyze, troubleshoot, and triage technical and functional issues during implementation phases. Define and support client acceptance testing processes to identify required changes and communicate updates to development teams. Provide post-launch technical and functional support until solutions are fully stabilized and transitioned to long-term support teams. Conduct client training sessions and web-based presentations as needed. Provide feedback to product teams regarding configuration opportunities and enhancement needs. Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives. Manage client expectations and maintain a professional, client-facing presence.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. 1-2+ years of experience writing functional and/or technical requirements for software implementations. 2+ years of experience supporting complex technical or software implementations in fast-paced environments. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, named ranges, formulas, and advanced analytics functions. Proficiency in SQL. Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to effectively manage client expectations and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare, or related field. Experience with Quality Assurance or testing processes. Experience within healthcare technology, wellness, or SaaS environments. Experience supporting client-facing software implementations. Professional presence with strong stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to travel as needed (~5% to 10%).
