Responsibilities Estimate the work necessary to realize a story or requirement through the delivery lifecycle. Perform spike or proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas. Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement or story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements. Utilize multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) to design and develop client requirements. Contribute to story refinement and define requirements. Resolve technical complexities involved in realizing story work. Participate in estimating the work necessary to realize a story or requirement through the delivery lifecycle. Design, develop, and modify architecture. Design and develop production-ready software for data warehousing solutions using Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle, SAS, Java, Informatica, and CI/CD deployment. Utilize Linux, code, debug, and use scheduling tools like Autosys. Design and develop new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with Apache Spark, SAS, Informatica, and Teradata Cloud. Develop complex Teradata SQL-based ETL and analytic workflows using native utilities including BTEQ, TPT, and FastExport. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related: and 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation. Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following: Designing and developing solution architectures to scale backend systems using Python, Java, Spring Boot and rest specifications; Utilizing full stack engineering, Linux, coding, and debugging; Designing and developing production ready software using web, cloud, and distributed technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Microservices, and CI/CD cloud deployment; and, Designing and developing new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with cutting edge technologies such as Elasticsearch, Redis, and Kafka.
