Workday Payroll Consultant Absence, Time Tracking & Payroll

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Payroll Consultant with strong expertise in Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll modules. The ideal candidate will support end-to-end implementation, configuration, and optimization of Workday HCM solutions, ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliant time and absence management.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead configuration and implementation of Workday Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll modules Conduct requirements-gathering workshops with business and HR stakeholders Design and configure payroll structures, absence plans, and time tracking rules Support full-cycle payroll processing including validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution Lead testing activities (SIT/UAT) and support defect remediation Deliver end-user training and provide post-go-live support Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and organizational policies Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure seamless integrations

Key Skills:

Workday Payroll certification required 5+ years of Workday Payroll consulting experience Strong expertise in Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules Deep understanding of global payroll and compliance requirements Experience with end-to-end Workday implementations Strong workshop facilitation and client-facing communication skills Proven ability in troubleshooting, testing, and production support

Experience:

5+ years of hands-on Workday consulting experience focused on Payroll Experience with large-scale HCM implementations and post-go-live support

Education:

Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60.00 to $75.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
