Job Description

Hansen Talent Group is hiring an A/V Technology Research Analyst to support enterprise audio/visual technologies, conference room solutions, and collaboration platforms across a dynamic corporate IT environment. This role is ideal for a technology professional with strong A/V support experience who enjoys researching emerging technologies, supporting enterprise collaboration tools, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and working directly with customers to keep business operations running smoothly.

Fully Onsite - Columbia, SC What You'll Do
  • Research, evaluate, test, and support enterprise audio/visual hardware and software technologies
  • Assist with installations, operational support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of A/V equipment across the enterprise
  • Support Microsoft Teams Rooms and enterprise conference room collaboration technologies
  • Configure, support, and troubleshoot Crestron and Extron devices and related A/V systems
  • Provide consultation and design recommendations for conference room technology setups
  • Research emerging technologies and stay current on lifecycle updates, product roadmaps, and industry trends
  • Evaluate new hardware and software solutions to support long-term business objectives and operational needs
  • Conduct product testing, technical reviews, and documentation efforts for supported technologies
  • Ensure supported technologies align with security standards and mitigate infrastructure vulnerabilities
  • Partner with vendors, operations teams, architecture groups, and leadership to support enterprise technology initiatives
  • Assist with related infrastructure and technology projects as assigned
  • Deliver exceptional customer support and communicate effectively with users and stakeholders at all levels
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation and product evaluation records What You'll Need
  • 2+ years of experience supporting enterprise technologies or related products, including at least 1 year directly supporting A/V technologies
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Hands-on experience supporting Crestron and Extron technologies
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms and enterprise video conferencing environments
  • Audio/visual installation and operational support experience required
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical research skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to support end users effectively
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate across all levels of the IT organization
  • Strong written documentation, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Experience evaluating and recommending enterprise technology solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-platform environment with occasional after-hours support needs
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and enterprise collaboration technologies We're not looking for traditional desktop support technicians without enterprise A/V experience
