Primary responsibilities will include materials testing, production, formulation, and testing of asphalt emulsions, and the evaluation of asphalt mixtures. We are looking for a high-energy individual with the qualifications listed below. How you will impact
Ingevity:
Collaborate with a dynamic team to conduct evaluations, maximize results, and develop innovative solutions to meet our customers' needs. Ensure that testing is completed according to industry and internal standards. Provide technical assistance from concept to customer acceptance. Optimize emulsion and mixture formulations. Utilize technical knowledge to assist with the development of new products. Apply scientific knowledge to accurately interpret data, which will influence product development and technical solutions from concept to customer acceptance. Effectively communicate results to meet the needs of our customers. Support industry initiatives.
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or other science-related discipline is preferred. At least 5 years of laboratory experience required, industry experience is preferred. Able to work independently and collaboratively. Occasional travel, less than 10%, to industry events and customer job sites Intuitive problem-solving skills High level of attention to detail and organizational ability Excellent oral and written communication skills Strength to safely handle 50 lb. buckets of materials Team player mentality and the flexibility to adapt to ever-changing priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Ingevity is a company made up of extraordinary people of every race, religion and background, all worthy of the same dignity.
