IDR is seeking a CAPPS Technical Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, TX. This role involves providing highly advanced technical consulting and assistance to support the CAPPS Program, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards, and supporting system design and testing across multiple agencies within the Texas public sector.
Position Overview for the CAPPS Technical Analyst:
Perform senior-level consultative services and technical assistance related to the CAPPS Program.
Ensure the CAPPS HR/Payroll requirements, procedures, development, and testing meet standards and follow lifecycle processes.
Maintain WCAG 2.1
accessibility standards across all digital content and coordinate waiver processes.
Oversee technical and functional design walkthroughs, including analyzing business processes and evaluating system dependencies.
Provide technical feedback during design walks, assessing performance, security, scalability, and data quality impacts.
Requirements for the CAPPS Technical Analyst:
Extensive Texas public sector experience, directly working for or supporting a Texas state government agency.
Extensive experience performing technical activities in support of CPA application systems.
Experience creating and managing a strategic roadmap, combining planning skills with technical insight and cross-functional communication.
Experience preparing materials for and conducting executive-level presentations.
Experience performing technical project management activities in support of CPA's CAPPS program.
