This role involves supporting the CAPPS Program within a government agency, providing senior-level technical advisory and project management expertise to ensure system compliance, accessibility, and performance. CAPPS Technical Lead:
Lead and support technical activities related to the CAPPS Program, ensuring compliance with system development lifecycle standards and WCAG 2.1
accessibility standards. Provide oversight on functional and technical design walks, analyzing business processes, assessing system architectures, and validating technical solutions. Coordinate testing efforts, manage WCAG waivers, track requests, and ensure that all digital content and applications meet accessibility and security standards. Support system deployment, maintenance, and ongoing compliance, including preparing technical documentation and participating in system reviews. Serve as a strategic technical resource for complex system analysis, infrastructure improvements, and vendor management activities. Requirements for the CAPPS Technical Lead:
Extensive Texas public sector experience, directly supporting or working within a Texas state government agency Extensive experience performing technical activities supporting CPA application systems Experience creating and managing strategic roadmaps through cross-functional communication and planning Experience preparing materials for and conducting executive-level presentations Technical experience with PeopleSoft FSCM or HCM 9.2, PeopleTools, Peoplecode, SQL, and Oracle 11 or higher What's in it for you?
