We're looking for a Data Analyst who thrives on transforming complex datasets into clear insights that guide business strategy and operational excellence. This position is in-office Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 05:00 pm and located in Fort Worth, TX (Hybrid or remote work opportunities may be available based on business needs). Key Responsibilities Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support strategic business decisions. Partner with department leaders to define reporting requirements, KPIs, and analytics solutions that improve performance. Translate business questions into data models, analytical frameworks, and clear reporting strategies. Design and develop interactive dashboards and automated reports using BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools. Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data across multiple systems. Create visualizations and reporting tools that allow business leaders to make confident, data-driven decisions. Support the development and maintenance of the enterprise data warehouse and data dictionary. Ensure reporting accuracy by validating data sources, identifying anomalies, and collaborating with IT and data engineering teams to resolve issues. Help establish best practices for data governance, reporting standards, and analytics frameworks across the organization. Work closely with business units to interpret data and provide clear explanations of insights and trends. Participate in agile team ceremonies, solution design discussions, and technical planning sessions. Provide guidance to colleagues on interpreting dashboards and analytics tools. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience translating complex business requirements into actionable data models and reports, validating data integrity, and maintaining comprehensive data dictionaries. Strong experience writing advanced SQL queries and working with relational databases. Experience building dashboards and visualizations with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools. Proficiency in Excel (Power Query, macros, advanced formulas). Working knowledge of data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Experience Master's degree or advanced data analytics certifications preferred. Experience analyzing data within Financial Institutions or the banking sector. Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis preferred. Experience within financial services or credit unions. Responsible for compliance of all Federal and State rules and regulations pertaining but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Bribery Act, NCUA Privacy Regulations, Reg B, Reg Z, Reg DD, Reg E, Reg CC, Service Members Civil Relief, and
FCRA/FACTA.
Required to attend initial and ongoing annual Bank Secrecy Act training.
