Job Description:

We're looking for a Sr. Payroll Tax & Technology Analyst for a global organization with U.S. and Canadian operations. What You'll Do Serve as the go-to payroll technical expert, validating end-to-end payroll calculations, system outputs, and vendor-generated results to confirm everything aligns with regulations, internal policies, and expected outcomes Run independent manual calculations on payroll and payroll taxes to spot discrepancies, then perform root cause analysis to determine whether issues stem from inputs, configuration, integrations, or vendor processing Partner with internal HRIS and the payroll vendor (UKG) to ensure system configurations consistently produce accurate, compliant results - including investigating configuration issues and driving fixes to resolution Own payroll tax validation across federal, state, local, and Canadian jurisdictions, covering tax calculation reviews, reconciliations, year-end reporting outputs (W-2, W-2C, T-4), and the setup of new tax jurisdictions alongside HRIS and the Senior Manager Lead payroll system testing efforts by building test scenarios, executing UAT, and validating system changes before they go live What We're Looking For 4 - 8 years of experience processing Payroll Tax Experience with multi state tax experience and processing Canada Tax reports Experience managing payroll systems Join us at Lumen Resources, where your expertise will contribute to our growth, and you'll have the opportunity to have fun and thrive alongside a dynamic group of professionals.
