Opportunity:

Sayva Solutions is partnering on an upcoming, confidential Technical Accounting Consultant opportunity anticipated to support a high-performing technical accounting function within a large, complex organization. This is an emerging, and we're proactively identifying qualified consultants who can step in quickly once the engagement is formally released. The ideal consultant brings strong

U.S. GAAP

technical accounting depth, practical experience translating guidance into clear conclusions, and the ability to partner cross-functionally with finance leadership and stakeholders. Prior experience in or supporting Big 4 or national public accounting environments is highly valued.

3-6+ months

Location:

Houston, Texas Compensation:

$70-$95/hour Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.

Scope:

Provide technical accounting guidance and support across complex transactions and accounting conclusions Draft and review technical accounting memos (policy positions, conclusions, and support documentation) Research and interpret ASC guidance; translate into clear recommendations for business and finance partners Support month-end and quarter-end close as needed for technical accounting areas (as applicable) Partner with internal stakeholders to align documentation, controls, and audit readiness Collaborate with external auditors and advisors as needed to support timely review and sign-off

Qualifications & Expertise:

5+ years of progressive accounting experience with meaningful technical accounting exposure Strong working knowledge of

U.S. GAAP

(ASC) and memo writing/documentation best practices Experience in public accounting (Big 4 or national firm) and technical accounting within a large company environment Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work autonomously, and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders Advanced Excel skills; comfort working in modern ERP system environments
