Certified Workday HR Time, Labor & Absence Lead Location:
Plano, TX (Preferred) / Remote Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Workday HR Time, Labor & Absence Lead to support one of our established clients based in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Workday HCM, specifically within the Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Labor Management modules. This role will be responsible for providing functional leadership, system support, configuration, enhancement, and optimization of Workday solutions to meet business requirements. Candidates who can work from the client site in Plano, TX, 3-4 days per week are strongly preferred. However, highly qualified remote candidates will also be considered. Key Responsibilities Lead the support, maintenance, and enhancement of Workday Time Tracking, Absence, and Labor Management modules. Partner with HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements. Configure and maintain Workday business processes, eligibility rules, accruals, leave plans, time calculations, and reporting. Troubleshoot and resolve Workday-related production issues and support tickets. Analyze system impacts and recommend process improvements and best practices. Support Workday releases, testing activities, and deployment of new features. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Payroll, Benefits, Security, and Integrations. Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and labor regulations. Required Qualifications 8+ years of
HRIS/HCM
experience with at least 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience. Strong expertise in: Workday Time Tracking Workday Absence Management Workday Labor Management Workday HCM Core Experience configuring business processes, eligibility rules, time calculations, and leave plans. Strong understanding of HR and Payroll processes. Experience supporting Workday production environments and handling incident resolution. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to work independently and lead functional discussions.
