Full Job Description Job Description Purpose:
The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large sets of data to support business decision-making. This role interprets data, identifies trends, and provides actionable insights through dashboards, reports, and visualizations. The analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility across systems.
Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
Collect, analyze, and interpret structured and unstructured data from multiple sources Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Excel, or Tableau Work closely with stakeholders to define key metrics, data needs, and reporting requirements Ensure data integrity and perform routine data validation and quality checks Translate complex data into understandable formats for business users and leadership Create and document data models, workflows, and reporting processes Support data governance and standardization initiatives Assist in automating data collection and reporting processes Collaborate with IT to ensure proper data architecture, integrations, and security Key Measures /
Key Performance Indicators:
Accuracy and timeliness of reports Stakeholder satisfaction with data insights Number of automated reports/processes developed Reduction in data discrepancies Usage and engagement with dashboards and reporting tools
Requirements Education:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field preferred
Experience:
2+ years of experience in a data analyst or similar role Proficient in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) Experience working with databases, APIs, and large data sets Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Exposure :
Internal:
Collaborates closely with teams across operations, finance, sales, and leadership
External:
May interface with vendors or platforms for data tools and integrations Factors critical to success at ITG Communications for this position :
Business Insight:
Ability to align data analysis with organizational goals and key performance metrics
Technical Proficiency:
Skilled in handling large data sets and developing automated reporting solutions
Communication:
