Job Description

We are seeking an IT Security Analyst who can work independently to manage mid-level security efforts, monitor workflows, and ensure internal IT controls are operating exactly as intended.

Remote or In-Person Core Responsibilities & Critical Skills To be successful in this position, you must have proven experience in the following areas:
Security Auditing & Remediation:
Conducting large-scale data classification assessments, performing internal security audits, and managing remediation plans.
Vulnerability Management:
Collaborating with IT management, internal audit teams, and central state IT authorities to track and fix vulnerabilities.
Compliance & Governance:
Developing and publishing information security policies, standards, and guidelines aligned with state/governance frameworks.
Incident Response & Awareness:
Coordinating responses to security incidents and maintaining organization-wide security awareness training. Experience Requirements 5+
Years:
In the IT Security field executing agency-level security projects and ensuring internal controls are appropriate. 8+
Years:
Performing data classification, security audits, and collaborating with cross-functional IT management.
Important Compliance Note:
Candidates must physically reside within the United States for the entire duration of the assignment. Offshore contracting is strictly prohibited.
