Three days onsite per week. About This Role We're seeking a Junior Technical Analyst with 2-5 years of IT experience to join our client's Digital team. You'll collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, developers, and testers to transform business needs into robust technical requirements for web, mobile, chat, and voice solutions that serve millions of members. Key Responsibilities
Translate business requirements into technical system specifications and documentation
Review and test applications and APIs to identify enhancement opportunities and new capabilities
Investigate enterprise and vendor APIs to determine data availability and integration feasibility
Map data flows between interfacing systems
Develop and prioritize features and epics with lead analysts to maximize value and align with product strategy
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, demos, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
Conduct application and service testing and validation
Create comprehensive system requirement and interface specification documentation
Present findings and demos to internal teams and business stakeholders
Collaborate with QA and development teams to resolve production issues
Troubleshoot system issues using documentation, database analysis, logs, and scenario testing
Manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment with aggressive timelines
Required Qualifications
2-5 years of relevant IT experience
Ability to write and execute SQL queries
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience conducting complex technical analysis across multiple products
Proficiency with Agile methodology
Experience writing system requirements
Understanding of multi-tier application architecture
Experience analyzing APIs
Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications
Technical Knowledge Working knowledge or general understanding of: Services-oriented architecture and microservices
Multi-tier applications (presentation, services-processing, and data management tiers)
Enterprise and vendor API integration
Configurable variables for managing system behavior
Error handling patterns
XML and JSON data structures
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience writing mobile and/or web application requirements
Experience writing mobile service and/or web service requirements
Experience with external-facing web and mobile applications
Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI
