Description:
The Department of Corrections (DOC) Bureau of Technology Management (BTM) has a requirement for a Business Analyst/Consultant IV (QA/BA Analyst) that will support the automated test script creation process plus the troubleshooting and requirements gathering for transforming our current Web Applications platform to the new DevSecOps architecture. The DevSecOps strategy will provide a set of concepts, principals, cultural philosophies, and tools that will increase our ability to deliver applications and services at a faster pace to our business customers. This contractor will work with the BTM Web Application team and the business to understand and translate the use cases that will create epics (business stories) to manage scope and prioritize. This position requires three primary focus areas; (1) Fundamental skills in problem solving and communication, (2) Testing skills foruse cases, and (3) Business Analysis skills in decision-making and analytical. These task assignments are required in order to support the transformation effort of modernizing several key web applications for the Department of Corrections.

This postion will function in an agile working practice, structured project management, and communication environment. Under the direction of the BTM Web Application Manager and Project Manager, Business Analyst/Consultant IV is responsible for performing task assignments that will providea thorough testing solution process for our custom web applications.
Thesetesting and requirements stratagiesare imperative in order to meet the business demand of delivering efficient technology solutions and supporting the business in a timely manner.
