Job Description

Job Description South Florida's leading healthcare system is seeking a Lead Telecom Engineer to join their team. This person will be working within the Infrastructure organization helping support the design, implementing, troubleshooting and management of complex voice and data networks. Their day to day will consist of operational and troubleshooting of requests in the backend systems, making sure call logs are working correctly, and optimization through services. They will help support the project base for 2026 and 2027 pipeline. The main tools and technologies required are Cisco CUBE, Oracle eSBC/ECB, Cisco Unified Communications Manager, and Microsoft Teams for direct routing and configuration. Additionally, this person will be helping mentor and lead junior engineers through projects and also overseeing project workload. Skills and Requirements 1. 3-5 years experience with Oracle Enterprise Communications Broker (ECB), Oracle Session Border Controller (eSBC and also known as AcmePacket), Oracle Enterprise Operations Manager. - 5+ years' experience and advanced knowledge of Oracle eSBC/ECB is a major plus or substitute for CUBE experience 2. 5+ years' work experience and advanced knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications Manager call control and routing 3. 3+ years' work experience with Microsoft Teams Calling over Direct Routing and configuration of shared line resources accounts 4. Troubleshooting SIP messaging 5. Understanding and configuration of cloud contact centers 6. Project management within the ability to lead projects independently 7. Mentoring of junior engineers 8. Management of service ticket queues
