Your impact We are looking for an experienced Telecom Engineer to support the design, execution, and commissioning of Data Center projects . The role involves working on telecom and ELV systems, coordinating with internal teams and vendors, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Design, review, and implement Telecom systems for Data Center projects Handle systems such as Structured Cabling, Fiber Optic Networks, Data & Voice, CCTV, Access Control, PA, BMS Interface, and WLAN Prepare and review design drawings, layouts, BOQs, specifications, and technical submittals Coordinate with cross-functional teams (MEP, IT, civil, commissioning) Support site activities , inspections, testing, and commissioning Liaise with vendors, consultants, and clients for technical clarifications Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety norms Attend technical meetings and provide regular project updates Here's what you'll need Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering , or related field 5-8 years of relevant experience in Telecom engineering Strong experience in Data Center telecom/ELV systems Hands-on knowledge of structured cabling systems (Cat 6/6A, Fiber) Familiarity with
TIA / BICSI / IEEE
standards Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Good coordination and communication skills Experience working on EPC / large infrastructure projects is preferred At Jacobs we value people.
