Job Description A client in the entertainment and talent agency space is seeking a Senior WiFi Engineer to support and improve WiFi performance across a portfolio of U.S.-based offices. This role is highly hands-on and field-facing, focused on RF design, predictive analysis, validation, and optimization rather than traditional network engineering. The goal is to deliver a top notch, WiFi first office experience and resolve ongoing WiFi performance complaints. This role is not heavily focused on general networking; candidates are expected to have baseline networking knowledge, but WiFi/RF is the core focus. This engineer will travel site to site, partner with local onsite IT teams, and act as a trusted internal resource for WiFi expertise.
Approx. 50% travel / 50% remote
First 2 weeks of month are focused on predictive analysis, looking at what is currently configured in that office, strategizing/designing for the improvement Key Responsibilities
Perform RF design and predictive WiFi analysis for existing and new office spaces
Review current WiFi configurations and environments; identify gaps and improvement areas
Make and validate configuration changes to improve WiFi performance and reliability
Conduct active RF analysis and surveys during onsite visits
Troubleshoot and resolve persistent WiFi complaints across multiple offices
Partner with local IT teams where present; operate independently where no local support exists
Act as an internal, colleague facing WiFi expert

10+ years of experience in enterprise WiFi engineering, particularly large office deployments
Deep hands on expertise with: Ekahau WiFi Toolkit (Predictive surveys, RF analysis, active/onsite analysis)
Cisco Meraki wireless / RF platforms
Solid understanding of backend WiFi authentication: 802.1X, RADIUS, certificate based authentication
Experience with high density WiFi environments
Comfortable traveling frequently and working across diverse office environments
Strong communication and soft skills—able to support internal teams and non WiFi experts
