Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Telecommunications Field Engineer to support a leading design services company delivering mission-critical infrastructure systems, including data centers, telecom networks, and secure environments. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience across field operations, design support, and project execution within complex telecom and structured cabling environments. Responsibilities of the
Telecommunications Field Engineer:
Support project leadership with risk management, scheduling, change management, and material coordination Ensure work complies with engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design documentation Assist with commissioning and troubleshooting efforts, including identifying and resolving installation issues Work closely with field teams to ensure drawings, plans, and documentation support installation activities Track subcontractor deliverables, manpower, and project progress Assist with project documentation, reporting, and coordination tasks Qualifications of the
Telecommunications Field Engineer :
1+ year of experience in telecommunications, structured cabling, or data center environments Exposure to fiber, copper, or low-voltage infrastructure projects Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or other 2D design tools Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary:
