Our challenge This role requires strong experience in modern web UI, API development, and distributed systems integration, with a strong emphasis on automated testing and production operability. Additional Information The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Chandler, AZ is $110 - $115k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role Responsibilities:
Contribute hands-on to features while also helping establish patterns, reviewing designs and code, and improving reliability, performance, and developer productivity.
Requirements:
Strong software engineering experience, including full-stack delivery Strong experience building responsive web UIs using modern frameworks (React preferred) Strong experience designing and implementing APIs/BFF services supporting UI workflows Proven experience integrating across multiple systems and handling partial failures gracefully Hands-on experience with automated testing across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers Experience with authentication/authorization integration (RBAC concepts, token-based auth patterns) Strong troubleshooting skills in complex production environments Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative engineering practices Experience building dashboards/console experiences with complex data visualization and workflow navigation Familiarity with observability standards (structured logs, metrics, traces) and correlation across tiers Experience implementing caching and performance strategies (client and server-side) Experience contributing to design systems and reusable component libraries Exposure to contract testing and API schema governance practices Preferred, but not required: Experience and desire to work in an Agile process (pair programming, daily stand-ups, etc.). Demonstrable knowledge of problem domain in which they have been working. Strong communication skills. Passion to learn new technology. Relevant industry (banking middle/back office/Finance) experience.
