Pioneer Global Logistics Inc. is looking for a UX Designer in Ontario, California to be responsible for designing and enhancing user-centric digital experiences by applying principles of human-centered design and usability. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, marketers, and researchers to understand user needs and translate them into intuitive, visually appealing, and functional user interfaces across web and mobile platforms. Conduct user research using methods such as interviews, surveys, ethnographic studies, and usability testing to gather actionable insights. Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts effectively. Collaborate closely with software engineers to implement user interfaces and ensure consistency across the product lifecycle. Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI pattern libraries for scalable and consistent interfaces. Perform competitive analysis and benchmark usability performance to identify opportunities for product improvement. Translate business requirements and user feedback into polished and effective design solutions. Participate in Agile/Scrum teams, contribute to sprint planning, and present design progress in stand-ups or review meetings. Use analytics tools to assess user behavior and make data-driven design decisions. Advocate for UX best practices and educate team members and stakeholders on the importance of usability and accessibility. Offered Salary Range:
$78,749 to $83,000 per year. Education and Experience Requirement:
Master's degree in Experience Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Computer Science, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent). Skills Requirement:
Skills may be gained through academic coursework and concurrently while pursuing academic studies. Must include utilizing design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Axure, InVision, and Adobe XD; Conducting user research and usability testing using tools like Optimal Workshop, Maze, Lookback, and UsabilityHub; Analyzing user behavior and engagement through analytics and monitoring platforms including Google Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel, and Hotjar; Managing projects and workflows using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Trello, and Asana; Collaborating with developers by applying HTML/CSS
knowledge and maintaining familiarity with frontend technologies and REST APIs; and Applying methodologies including Agile/Scrum, human-centered design, usability testing, A/B testing, and rapid prototyping.
