Duration:
6-Month Role Overview As a Senior UX Researcher, you will operate as a trusted subject matter expert and research lead within the Platforms & Devices organization (focusing on Google One and Photos). You will own and execute mixed-method research projects with high autonomy, directly transforming user insights into clear product strategies. In this role, you will champion inclusive design, build cross-functional alignment, and help define the vision for complex product ecosystems used by millions daily.
Key Responsibilities Drive Research Strategy:
Adapt, evolve, and execute mixed-method (qualitative and quantitative) research frameworks for large-scale, complex product initiatives.
Influence Product Direction:
Synthesize user, service, and business data into high-impact insights and metrics that guide leadership decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner deeply with PM, Eng, and Design to unblock product constraints, build alignment, and advocate for user-centric thinking.
Inclusive Design Leadership:
Promote and practice inclusive research methodologies to ensure product accessibility and equity. Qualifications Proficiency across the full product development lifecycle (PDLC) and core UX research methodologies. Strong mastery of human/user behavior, UX storytelling, and systems thinking. Proven track record of managing moderately complex research projects with little-to-no oversight.
Pay:
$100.00•$105.00 per hour
