Job Description

UI / UX Designer and Developer 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars 26040 Ynez Road, Temecula, CA 92591 $30 - $35 an hour - Full-time QC Manufacturing Inc. 32 reviews $30 - $35 an hour - Full-time Description The UI/UX Designer and Developer is responsible for creating the visual design system, page layouts, responsive design states, and developer-ready design assets for websites, mobile apps, software systems, and more. This position focuses on translating the approved sitemap, content structure, brand direction, and marketing goals into a clean, modern, user-friendly website experience. The role requires strong web design judgment, practical UI/UX thinking, and the ability to design reusable components that can be implemented consistently across the site. This position may also take part in UI/UX design for internal and public-facing mobile apps as well as internal software systems. The designer will create polished page designs for core website areas, including the homepage, landing pages, category pages, product-focused pages, forms, navigation elements, call-to-action sections, and reusable content blocks. Designs must support a retail and eCommerce-focused user experience, helping visitors browse products, understand services, and move clearly through the website. This position must have a working understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React. The designer is not expected to be the primary developer, but they must understand how modern frontend websites are structured, so their designs are realistic, component-based, responsive, and practical to build. The role requires designing with reusable React components, CSS structure, responsive breakpoints, browser behavior, and frontend implementation limitations in mind. The position requires designing for desktop, tablet, and mobile screen sizes, with careful attention to spacing, typography, hierarchy, usability, accessibility, and consistency. All work should be organized in Figma with clearly named pages, components, variants, layers, and assets so the internal developer can efficiently build from the designs. This role also includes collaboration with the internal marketing team and web developer during design reviews, revisions, and handoff. The designer is expected to provide practical, buildable design solutions rather than static one-off mockups. Key Requirements  Strong experience in website visual design, app visual design, and UI/UX design  Strong Figma skills  Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React  Ability to design clean, modern, responsive website layouts  Experience creating reusable components and design systems  Understanding of component-based frontend development  Ability to design for reusable React components and shared UI sections  Understanding of responsive breakpoints, browser behavior, and frontend implementation constraints  Strong sense of typography, spacing, visual hierarchy, layout, and usability  Ability to design for a custom-built website rather than only templates, themes, or no-code platforms  Experience preparing organized design files for developer handoff  Ability to work from an existing sitemap, content plan, and brand direction  Ability to collaborate with marketing and development teams  Strong attention to detail  Strong communication and responsiveness during review and implementation phases Preferred Requirements  Experience with retail or eCommerce website design  Experience with product category pages, product-focused landing pages, and conversion-focused layouts  Experience designing healthcare, wellness, maternity, baby, medical supply, or consumer product websites  Experience working directly with React developers or other component-based frontend teams  Experience using Figma components, variants, auto layout, and reusable UI libraries  Understanding of customer journey design and product discovery flows  Experience preparing design specifications for spacing, typography, imagery, component behavior, responsive states, and reusable frontend components
