Translate product requirements and user needs into clear, intuitive design solutions. Produce detailed design specifications and interaction documentation to support high quality engineering implementation. Iterate on designs based on feedback, usability findings, and technical constraints. Research & Insight Contribution Conduct lightweight, designer led research activities such as usability testing, concept validation, heuristic evaluations, and customer feedback sessions. Partner with product managers, analytics teams, or UX researchers to leverage existing research, behavioral data, and insights. Help synthesize research findings into actionable design recommendations. Validate designs through testing and feedback to improve usability and reduce implementation risk. Apply research insights pragmatically, balancing speed, confidence, and learning. UserCentered DesignCrossFunctional CollaborationCraft & Quality Apply usercentered design principles to identify usability issues and opportunities. Advocate for the user by grounding design decisions in evidence where possible. Balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints while maintaining a high usability bar. Collaborate closely with product managers to clarify requirements and align on design direction. Work with engineers to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and implemented accurately. Partner with marketing, brand, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and consistent experiences. Clearly communicate design concepts and research insights through visuals, prototypes, and presentations. Maintain strong attention to visual and interaction design details. Contribute to and follow established design systems, patterns, and accessibility standards. Participate in design critiques and peer reviews to continuously improve quality. Stay current with UX, UI, and research best practices and trends in digital product design. What You Bring Required 4-7 years of experience designing user experiences for digital products (web and/or mobile). A portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design work, including examples informed by user feedback or research. Solid understanding of user centered design principles, interaction design, and visual design. Experience conducting or supporting basic UX research activities such as usability testing or concept validation. Ability to apply research findings and data to improve design outcomes. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Experience working in Agile product teams. Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (Figma preferred; Sketch, Adobe, or similar). Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements. Preferred Experience designing for ecommerce, retail, or other customer and internal-facing digital products. Familiarity with accessibility guidelines and inclusive design practices. Experience working within a design system. Comfort partnering with analytics or research partners to interpret insights. Experience iterating designs based on usability feedback or A/B test learnings.
