You will be part of something bigger. This is where the best are built. Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career UI/UX Associate Engineer. In this role, you will play a critical role in prototyping, designing, and developing user-centered display solutions that meet the needs of our customers in a creative, intuitive, safe, and effective display systems that enhances the user experience. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of User Interface Design, Figma, Java, and/or Adobe XD. Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Machine Interaction (HMI), Human Factors Engineering (HFE), Human Systems Integration (HSI), or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Graphical User Interface (GUI) design for optimal usability while considering back-end logic.
  • Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript, Java or C++.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
  • Familiarity in design and analysis tools, such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and statistical analysis software (e.
g.
JMP, SPSS
).
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Gitlab, Jira, Confluence).
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Familiarity understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects and tasks.

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
