Job Posting External Job Responsibilities:
As a Design Research Co-op at Crown, you will ask questions and dig in to find answers, find more than one way to look at things, consider business issues, explore a broad range of information, identify meaningful patterns, and communicate insights through compelling stories and visuals. You will be mentored by Crown's Design Research team to research, design, and help implement lift truck interfaces, warehouse management tools, and mobile applications with industry-leading user experience.
Tasks may include:
Visualize research insights using task/system maps, wireframes, and other charts or representations, as well as traditional written reports Conduct user research (both field and lab research) to understand the unmet needs of customers Test interface concepts and functional UIs (User Interfaces) with users and gather feedback on potential usability and cognitive issues Analyze and document user needs, competitive products and industry trends Collaborate with teams of designers, engineers and other researchers Develop and organize workshops with stakeholders Job Qualifications Pursuing a degree in User Experience (UX) Design, User Interface (UI) Design, Interactive Design, Industrial Design, Anthropology, Psychology, Human Factors, or other social and behavioral sciences Good written communication, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills Proficient in the use of tools to document and communicate findings, including the Microsoft 365 and Figma Reliable transportation to travel locally between company locations during scheduled workday Able to work onsite, M- F in New Bremen, OH.
