$60•70 per hour We are seeking a hands-on UI/Visual Designer to play a vital role in shaping our business-to-customer (B2C) digital products and services. In this position, you will translate key product benefits into user-centric, highly engaging interfaces designed to actively drive sales and customer conversions. You will serve as a visual champion, bridging the gap between strategic marketing goals and exceptional interface execution. As a core creative collaborator, you will work closely with Creative Directors and cross-functional leads across Sales, Marketing, Branding, and Engineering. Your mission is to launch digital applications defined by a sophisticated visual aesthetic and intuitive user experiences. If you are a meticulous designer who thrives in a fast-paced, agile ecosystem managing multiple concurrent projects, we want you to help shape our digital footprint.
Responsibilities:
Own the
User Interface:
Diagnose UI issues, pitch innovative solutions, advise on implementation strategies, and execute designs that elevate the overall user journey.
Deliver Stunning Visuals:
Craft flawless, world-class user interfaces rooted in original, captivating visual design concepts.
Thrive Under Pressure:
Consistently deliver top-tier work against tight deadlines in a fluid, agile product development environment.
Prototype and Validate:
Build interactive prototypes for internal feedback and usability testing, leveraging data-driven insights to refine the UI.
Uphold Industry Standards:
Demonstrate a strong mastery of accessibility and usability guidelines, seamlessly merging them with visual design principles. Advocate for the
User:
Utilize a deep understanding of user behavior to propose impactful UI features that address core customer pain points.
Bridge Design and Engineering:
Document clear, comprehensive style guides and technical design specifications optimized for developer handoff. Support the
Build:
Provide ongoing design QA, guidance, and revisions throughout the engineering and development lifecycle.
Champion Quality:
Maintain a highly critical eye for design integrity and an unyielding commitment to precision.
Qualifications:
Required Portfolio:
A portfolio showcasing recent e-commerce project designs is mandatory. Experience designing for mobile sites, smartphones, and tablet applications is highly preferred.
Professional Experience:
8+ years of dedicated UI and visual design experience, ideally within a digital agency or in-house product team.
Design Systems Leadership:
Proven track record of leading the creation and evolution of robust, adaptable digital design systems.
Visual Specialization:
Deep expertise in crafting iconography, custom symbols, and clear data visualizations.
Typography Expertise:
Advanced skills in typesetting, font hierarchy, and typographic layouts.
Platform Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of cross-platform usability standards and technical UI specifications for both web and mobile.
Technical Awareness:
Solid grasp of the design capabilities and technical constraints inherent to modern browsers and email clients.
End-to-End Execution:
Highly proficient at taking a project from early conceptual exploration all the way to finalized, production-ready assets.
