Seeking a passionate and skilled Mid-Level Product Designer to join our growing product design team. This role will play a critical part in designing and evolving digital products that deliver meaningful, accessible, and intuitive user experiences for our customers. This role will collaborate closely with product owners, product specialists, engineers, and other designers/researchers to ensure the successful implementation of product design strategies. Under the direction of senior design leaders, this role is responsible for ensuring the voice of the customer is translated into meaningful, accessible, and easy-to-use capabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong design and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business requirements into intuitive and functional designs. Design Execution & Collaboration Collaborate with lead designers to finalize feature designs, expand workflows to capture all use cases, and create interactive prototypes with detailed design annotations. Translate business and technical requirements into user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs that are technically feasible. Ensure that feature designs follow our accessibility standards. Partner with product owners and agile teams to ensure designs are accurately represented in epics, features, and user stories for development. Adapt designs based on feedback from stakeholders, daily standups, and sprint planning sessions. Conduct design QA to ensure the final developed product meets design specifications and quality standards.User Research & Testing:
Conduct user research and testing to better understand customer needs, pain points, and behaviors. Analyze and synthesize research findings to inform design decisions and create user-centered solutions. Present research insights, design concepts, and prototypes to stakeholders, gathering feedback to refine designs.Stakeholder Engagement:
Represent design in cross-functional meetings, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and daily standups. Clearly communicate design decisions to developers, product managers, and business stakeholders while advocating for the user experience. Collaborate with developers to answer questions and clarify design details during implementation.Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to the advancement of design processes by introducing and documenting new methods and best practices. Build and test ideas that challenge the status quo, delivering high-quality user experiences that prioritize innovation, simplicity, and consistency. Desired Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience. 3+ years of experience in digital product design for web and mobile platforms. Experience working on B2B platforms or in complex systems. Prior experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry. Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web languages to collaborate effectively with engineers during the design process. Experience designing accessible user interfaces for complex applications and familiarity withWCAG 2.1/2.2 AA
Standards Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with design systems. Experience creating user flows, wireframes, design annotations, and interactive prototypes. Experience conducting user research and usability testing as well as ability to analyze, synthesize and present research findingsMinimum Skills and Abilities:
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles with the ability to translate business needs into intuitive designs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas to diverse audiences. Strong prioritization skills and ability to quickly re-prioritize in a dynamic environment Proactive self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Analytical mindset and creativity to balance detailed problem-solving with a big-picture strategic view. Ability to work closely with agile teams to drive effective and efficient implementation of designs.
