6+ months with strong potential for conversion We are seeking a Principal UX Designer who can blend strong product design execution with strategic, data-informed decision-making. This role is ideal for a senior designer who can look beyond screens and use product analytics, user behavior, business goals, and stakeholder input to shape meaningful user experiences. The right candidate will be highly skilled in Figma and have hands-on experience with Pendo or similar product analytics/onboarding tools. This person should be comfortable working closely with Product Owners, engineering, analytics, research, content, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into intuitive, accessible, and business-aligned digital experiences. This is a high-visibility role supporting web, mobile, and responsive product experiences in a matrixed environment. Candidates should be able to start quickly, operate independently, and bring a strong portfolio that shows end-to-end product design thinking, data-informed decisions, and measurable user or business impact. Responsibilities Own end-to-end UX and product design for a primary product area, from discovery through delivery. Translate product data, user behavior, stakeholder input, and business goals into clear UX strategy and design direction. Use tools such as Pendo to understand user behavior, identify friction points, evaluate adoption, and inform design decisions. Create user flows, journey maps, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma . Partner closely with Product Owners, engineering, analytics, research, and business stakeholders to define problems, clarify requirements, and align on solutions. Facilitate design reviews, working sessions, and stakeholder discussions to communicate design rationale and gather actionable feedback. Support usability testing, lightweight research, and concept validation to improve product experiences. Balance planned roadmap work with ad hoc design requests across multiple product areas. Collaborate with engineering teams on feasibility, front-end constraints, implementation details, and design handoff. Promote consistency across products by using and contributing to shared design systems, patterns, and UX guidelines. Advocate for inclusive, accessible, and user-centered experiences across web and mobile platforms. Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional UX, product design, or experience design experience; senior-level experience strongly preferred. Hands-on professional experience with Figma , including wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity UI, design systems, components, and design handoff. Hands-on experience with Pendo for product analytics, onboarding, adoption insights, in-app guidance, or user behavior analysis. Portfolio demonstrating current expertise in web, mobile, responsive UX, UI design, and end-to-end product design process. Ability to translate analytics, research findings, and business requirements into practical user experience improvements. Experience working with Product Owners, engineers, researchers, analytics teams, and business stakeholders. Strong understanding of user-centered design, usability principles, information architecture, and interaction design. Experience planning or supporting usability testing, user research, or UX evaluation. Ability to communicate design rationale clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. Comfortable working in Agile, waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments. Ability to work independently, prioritize competing requests, and operate effectively in a matrixed organization. Preferred Qualifications 7+ years of UX or product design experience. Experience designing enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, internal tools, portals, dashboards, or complex workflow-based products. Experience with onboarding flows, product adoption, customer journeys, or usage analytics. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive design constraints, and modern front-end development considerations. Experience with service design, content strategy, accessibility, and design systems. Experience with analytics or research tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, FullStory, Hotjar, Google Analytics, UserTesting, Maze, Dovetail, or similar platforms. Experience designing for both internal and external users. What We're Looking For We are looking for a designer who can think strategically, communicate confidently, and execute quickly. The ideal candidate can review data in a tool like Pendo, understand what the business is trying to accomplish, identify where users are struggling, and then translate those insights into a better experience. This person should be comfortable speaking the language of the business while still advocating for the user. They should be able to explain not only what they designed, but why they designed it, what data or research supported the decision, and how the solution supports broader product and business goals. A strong portfolio is required and should include examples of: End-to-end product design work Web, mobile, and responsive design Figma prototypes and high-fidelity design Data-informed or research-informed design decisions User flows, wireframes, information architecture, or journey maps Stakeholder collaboration and design rationale Business or user outcomes where available Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a senior UX/Product Designer who has worked in a cross-functional product environment and is comfortable partnering with Product Owners, engineering, analytics, and business teams. They bring strong Figma skills, meaningful Pendo experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to turn product data into actionable UX strategy.
