Their Lifecycle Marketing team plays a critical role in delivering thoughtful, personalized communication experiences that support employers at every stage of engagement. About the Role We are seeking a dedicated UX Content Designer contractor to support a high-performing Lifecycle Marketing team focused on creating scalable, on-brand email experiences for employers. This role sits at the intersection of content strategy, UX writing, and lifecycle marketing execution. The ideal candidate is a strong collaborator who can move quickly, maintain brand consistency, and create persuasive, user-centered content that drives engagement and conversion. You'll partner cross-functionally with marketers, designers, product teams, and stakeholders to develop high-quality email campaigns that align with established content standards and improve speed-to-market for lifecycle initiatives. Key Responsibilities Translate business objectives into effective lifecycle content experiences Create engaging, conversion-focused copy and content strategies for marketing email campaigns Develop messaging tailored to different user segments, personas, and customer intents Determine the appropriate content, cadence, and channels for user touchpoints Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, design, and product teams Clearly communicate content strategies, recommendations, and campaign plans Maintain and evolve content standards aligned with established brand and UX guidelines Support rapid testing and iteration to improve campaign performance and user engagement Ensure consistency, accessibility, and scalability across email experiences Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in UX writing, content design, content strategy, lifecycle marketing, or marketing email campaigns Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Portfolio showcasing persuasive email campaigns, lifecycle content strategy, and lead nurturing experience Strong understanding of user-centered communication and content strategy principles Experience mapping content to user intent and customer journeys Proven collaboration with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and engineers Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills Experience with Figma and Google Workspace tools including Docs, Sheets, and Slides Familiarity with user testing, analytics, and performance optimization What We're Looking For A detail-oriented content professional who thrives within established systems and brand standards Someone who can execute quickly while maintaining high-quality output A proactive communicator who can identify tradeoffs and collaborate effectively A strategic thinker focused on operational efficiency, scalability, and continuous improvement A team player energized by creating better user experiences through content Why Join?
