Citizens, Nionals or those who owe allegiance to the U.S. Clarificion from the agency Open to Public Duties Help Serves as UX Content Designer for Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) enterprise digital plforms, including installion websites, MCCS Connect, and reled services. Responsible for designing, writing, and maintaining user-centered content th supports clear, consistent, and effective digital experiences. Applies knowledge of user experience principles, content design, and plain language standards to ensure informion is structured and presented in a way th supports user needs and service delivery. Works collaborively with product, design, and development teams, as well as installion stakeholders, to improve usability and consistency across plforms. Works collaborively with product managers, UX designers, UX engineers, and installion stakeholders to support content consistency and usability across distributed environments. Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Designs and develops user-centered content for digital plforms, including web and mobile experiences
• Writes, edits, and refines content using plain language principles to improve clarity and usability
• Structures content to support intuitive navigion, accessibility, and task completion
• Collabores with UX designers and product managers to ensure content aligns with user flows and feure functionality
• Participes in Agile processes, including backlog refinement and sprint activities, to represent content needs in product development
• Conducts content reviews and audits to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement
• Transles complex program, policy, and service informion into clear, concise, and actionable content
• Supports the development and use of content pterns, temples, and reusable components
• Works with developers to ensure content is implemented effectively within system and plform constraints
• Uses analytics, search da, and user feedback to evalue content performance and recommend improvements
• Provides guidance to installion personnel on content best practices and effective use of digital plforms
• Assists in developing documention and training merials to support consistent content practices
• Ensures content aligns with accessibility standards and applicable policies (e.g., Section 508) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Knowledge of user experience (UX) principles, content design, and informion architecture
• Ability to write and edit clear, concise, and user-centered content
• Knowledge of plain language standards and digital content best practices
• Ability to structure content to support usability and efficient navigion
• Skill in conducting content reviews and applying insights to improve user experience
• Ability to collabore effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

EVALUATIONS

Qualificions Bachelor's degree in a reled field approprie to the work of the position; AND three years of progressively responsible experience in UX content design, content stregy, content writing, technical writing, digital content management, web or mobile content development, informion architecture, digital publishing, accessibility, plain language, or reled enterprise digital plform work; OR an approprie combinion of educion and experience th demonstres possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to th gained in the above, OR approprie experience th demonstres th the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to th gained in the above. Must have experience to demonstre the ability to structure, write, edit, and maintain user-centered digital content; support content management system workflows; transle complex program, policy, service, or technical informion into clear and actionable digital content; apply plain language and accessibility standards; and collabore with product, design, development, IT, and stakeholder teams. Skill to prepare and maintain clear, accure, and complete digital content records, documention, reports, and stakeholder correspondence. Ability to communice effectively with technical and non-technical audiences and maintain positive working relionships across product, design, development, IT, and installion teams.
