DESCRIPTION
As a Principal UX Designer for Shopping Design, you will provide significant impact on the Amazon Shopping experience, driving the strategy, frameworks, and patterns leveraged by business and design teams across Amazon in building a more cohesive and engaging page experience for customers. You will craft simple, fluid, and beautiful experiences that accommodate our growing and diverse selection of products and programs, while enabling customers to browse, discover, and act on a buying decision. You have an inventor's spirit, highly refined aesthetic sensibilities and a fine-tuned ability to contextually communicate the right thing in the right place at the right time to customers. You are obsessed about customer experience; you never settle for good enough, and continually inspire those around you to do better for the customer. You love to dive into unknown territory and invent simple, elegant solutions to complex challenges. Your work will focus on mobile first, but you should be passionate about expanding features to create true multi-device experiences that move with the customer from one device to another. Key job responsibilities Defining how to adapt Shopping CX to best serve the unique needs of each customer across variable devices, resolutions, and locales. Influencing across organizational lines and locales, driving CX standards adopted by business groups and design teams across Amazon who contribute to Shopping content and framework. Earning trust with senior leaders across all Shopping organizations to ensure CX frameworks scale to the broad needs and interests of our customers. Partnering closely with product and engineering to invent, evolve, and simplify Shopping product design and architecture. Developing feedback loops from partner teams and through awareness of industry innovation to proactively identify opportunities for experimentation, and own how to build learnings back into page frameworks. Prioritizing inclusive and accessible designs for all customers About the team Shopping Design is the team responsible for designing the global Amazon shopping experience. The team owns the end-to-end customer journey, from discovery to evaluation to transaction. Beyond direct product design, Shopping Design enables designers and technologists across Amazon with scalable design patterns, systems, tools, customer insights, and best practices that ensure a cohesive and delightful customer experience at scale. The Amazon Shopping Design team brings together curious designers who collaborate to power the Amazon shopping experience and deliver innovation at incredible scale. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of design experience Experience with best practices for User Interface Design, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design Experience in life cycle design projects from design strategy through execution
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
