Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Game Master to join our team at a popular entertainment destination. The position as a Game Master we are seeking to fill is not for a seasonal(Summer/Winter break) position. As a Game Master, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences, ensuring a fun and safe environment for all participants, and managing conflicts and disputes in a fair and professional manner. - Host and lead interactive games, shows, and activities for guests of all ages, including children and families
- Provide excellent guest services, including responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive experience
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all guests, including supervising children and monitoring.
- Manage conflicts and disputes in a fair and professional manner, with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute events and activities
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about our escape room and its offerings, and provide recommendations and information to guests
- Engage in public speaking and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members
- Develop and implement creative and innovative game designs and activities to keep guests entertained and engaged
Experience:
- Previous experience in a guest services or food service role is preferred
- Experience working with children is highly desirable
- Experience in a theater or hospitality setting is preferred
- Proven experience in conflict management and public speaking is essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
WEEKENDS ARE A MUST.
- Must have own cellphone.
- Must be able to type 30 words per minute or better.
- Must live within 20 minutes or less from location with their own reliable source of transportation.
