Game Master

About us We are looking for a young enthusiastic Game Master to join our team at our GSR location. Our escape rooms have a lot of different themes, from a bank heist to a medieval castle, along with our 1920's hotel themed lobby. Game Masters get to play into these themes to create an immersive and memorable experience for our customers! As stated our lobby is 1920's hotel themed so our Game Masters get to act as the "hotel" bellhops. We have a total of five rooms with different modes and themes. The goal of a Game Master is to understand how each puzzle works, to set up each room, and help teams make their grand escapes! We want to provide all groups that come to Break Through Reno with top-notch customer service, so we expect Game Masters to be able to keep a positive attitude and build good rapport with teams. We have 4 different positions that have mandatory and on-call hours. All employees are trained and scheduled for all positions. If scheduled on-call you get a one hour notice if needed.

Game Masters are expected to:

Greet and prep arriving groups with enthusiasm Quickly think of creative fixes for puzzles (problem solving when issues arise) Efficiently set up each of the 5 rooms Provide detailed and helpful clues to teams Communicate well with other team members and management Memorize each room layout and functioning Be reliable when scheduled for shifts Wear uniform Answer phone calls and assist with customer bookings Keep a clean/organized environment Have basic knowledge and understanding of computers Keep store clean Please keep in mind our closing time differs every day.
